I was denied at over 10 places due to my past sex offense. I finally found a guy that would overlook my past who had a substandard apartment for $600/month. He asked if I wanted to see it before I moved in. I told him… “NO, I’m glad you are willing to give me a chance.” Somehow he understood. It was a vacant apartment for quite some time. So he is happy with the added income.

- Familial Status, including having children or being pregnant
- National Origin, or
- Mental or Physical Disability
